April quietly shadowed Philip's steps at the function, taking note of any potentially useful contact. Philip would expect her report on his desk first thing in the morning. Ready for him to peruse and spot the careers to watch and who to befriend for his own use.
She noticed the smartly dressed man working the room, obviously a pro at these gatherings. A matter of moments and she accessed his file. Interesting. His project sounded exactly the sort of thing Philip was interested in. But how to gain access to him?
Ah, that was so sad and yet absolutely perfect.
