Title: Meeting The Past
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Nick Cutter, James Lester, Connor Temple.
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 251: Sticks And Stones. Set in my Under The Moonlight wolfverse, probably during Survival. Thanks go to Fred for looking at it for me.
Nick stared into the fire, he always worried James would be injured or worse when he hunted alone. He looked up at Connor's squeak, gasping at the several Stone-Age hunters.
Nick raised his arms in – well, what he hoped was a non-threatening manner. They were unarmed and the several stone-and-wood axes and spears he was looking at might seem primitive but Nick knew they were bloody effective.
A low growl sounded behind him and Nick saw James in his wolf-form move in front of them. The hunters raised their weapons before crying out and running when James Shifted form.
