Title: He Had Missed It
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Ethan Dobrowski
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 249: Hidden In Plain Sight. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series and continues from To The Rescue.
Ethan made a point of watching Lester from then on. Oh, he was subtle about it and no one noticed what he was doing. No one, except Lester himself who had quirked an eyebrow at him.
It was annoying, actually, when Ethan realised he had only seen what Lester had wanted him to see – the incompetence that hid the man's real capabilities. Ethan just couldn't believe he had misjudged Lester. OK, the rest of the tribe had missed it too, but that didn't make Ethan feel any better. He prided himself on seeing everything and he had missed it.

Date: 2012-02-13 10:07 am (UTC)Oh wow...I liked that...this drabble certainly put some lovely ideas into my head! Ethan vs Lester! Nuff said!! XD Can imagine how pissed off Ethan would be for misjudging Lester...and of course how delightfully smug Lester would be!
