Title: Taking The Day Off
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Nick Cutter, James Lester, Jenny Lewis
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 249: Hidden In Plain Sight. Part of my Under The Moonlight wolfverse. I've no idea where this fits in the 'verse, but the bunny bit ;) Thanks go to Fred for the beta and paw holding.
“Nick?” Jenny knocked on his office door. “Have you seen James? The Health and Safety rep wants a word.”
“No, sorry, I haven't. Shall I let him know when I see him?”
“Yes, please.” Jenny paused on her way out to caress a silky ear. “Hello Shadow. Are you keeping an eye on Nick for James?” Jenny smiled when Shadow barked. “Look after him, Nick has a habit of getting into trouble.”
Once Jenny had left, Nick raised an eyebrow. “Are you going to see the rep?” When Shadow just rested his muzzle on his paws, Nick muttered, “Lucky bugger.”
