James had spent so many long years feeling the outsider and separate from everyone he met. Truly a wolf amongst the sheep. He had kept his distance, letting people think he was uninterested in social – but not political – events. It had hurt to observe other people have fun, but James couldn't risk anyone discovering his secret. He had even been careful with Sarah and his children, no matter how much he had and still did love them, he had never completely relaxed around them.
Everything changed when Nick discovered his secret and still wanted to be with him.
